I have a question, not for vPlug but for dreambox user.
The last mgcamd support I2 according to readme

I2 sa/pmk moved to autoroll, in vplug format, make sure you have
M3, M4 16 bytes long and M7 3 bytes long for provider there.[/code]
According to readme, mgcamd support I2 with the same format that vPlug but I think mgcamd need key not encrypted (M3, M4, M5, M8 and M7.
Is it possible to have those keys (M3, M4, M5, M8 and M7 not encrypted) ?, as now I2 AU is down.

Vahid, no it don’t work with the last mgcamd (IE 1.30), with 1.26 it work with OP keys.
To be honest I don’t know whi it doesn’t work with the last mgcamd, maybe it need M3, M4, M5, M8, M7 to autoroll.key or softcam.keys that’s why i search it but not encrypted.

AU is down here now. And no one will publish the MK’s in clear form. So that function in your EMU means for personal usage and nothing else.

You are asking your question in a wrong place. I don’t have a DreamBox…. and someone reported that SBCL and latest MGCamd are working fine with I2.

Hi all,
Wonder if anyone have same experiance…
All Mult**ision channels are mixing with others from TPS.
Example, if I watch Multi1 it will auto tune it self to Cine*inema and some others… I tried to find solution for this problem at “usual places” but I guess no luck…
Could it be that my current location is reason for this behavior (Middle East)?

That behavior has nothing to do with vPlug. you have problem with your dvb-s player. delete your current channels and scan the channels from scratch.

no. life time of a I2 master key is approximately 1 week. and after that we should extract the keys again … which is not an easy job.

Providers to make money have to encrypt their signals (MPEG2 streams here (most of the time)).
This stream is composed of lots of elements : ECM’s, EMM’s, PAT, CAT, PMT and so on. You can read dvb or MPEG2 standard documents to learn more about them.
Each ECM contains 2 keys to decrypt the signal (we will call those keys DCW’s or decrypted control words which should be calculated from the original CW’s).
To compute DCW’s (form the encrypted control words) we need operational keys (op-keys) and of course the relevant algorithm. These OP-Keys can be extracted from the incoming EMM data (most of the time).

Hi buddy,
As I have got it by far, op-keys for some packages like t*p*s are not changing regularly so we have them on for months but for some others like s*time op-keys are changing so we need to exract them every week or two. If this is true my question would be about the algorithm (if there are any) according to which op-keys are changing. Has any one tried to find the algorithm?

TPS changes its op-keys every 20 minutes, not every month. (now they are changing the keys every 2 hours)
+ You are talking about EMM master keys not ECM OP-Keys.
TPS didn’t change the master keys (it’s their decision). But they can change the in use algo every day! Yes, every day! It can be completely dynamic and it is.
And yes, we can even extract the I2 master keys (PMK’s) from the incoming EMM stream, but it needs HMK’s which never will be public, as long as some guys can make money out of it by selling those info to FTA makers or pirate cards makers. (algo is already known)

Strongly Recommended Reading :

(you can find it on the main page)
+ I don’t want to enter to this discussion again as it’s already done in another threads of this site.
You should check these items:
1-local time of your computer MUST be correct.
2-enable sattime in vPlug.ini
3-delete your old v_tps.db and dec.bin, run the program, tune to France5 and wait for a minute.
4-obviously you should have a good v_keys.db file.

Done. when i enabled sattime it went back to work.i think sattime had to be disabled for ART AU to work cuz now it hit me that when ART AU started was the time TPS stopped.

How about with starting to read this whole blog? I think in the end you will know everything you need.
But sure.. this would not be as easy as just asking questions that have been answered for a million times..
People.. you get a kick-ass program and therefore paytv for free, the least thing you could do is READ. Vahid could just as well sell vplug, as there has always been a great opportunity to earn money in the sat scene. Instead he provides you with a free program, that has all known np emu routines implemented. So please at least READ and don’t annoy and bug vahid with stupid questions that already have been answered many times.
