  7. is vplug2.3.4 working with dvbviewer 3.9.4, cause dvbviewer 3.9.4 doesn’t recognize it?
Also what happened with the old installation procedure?

    By m on Jul 11, 2008

  8. You have to use the installer. otherwise it won’t work for you.
installer should update your system with OpenSSL dll’s. If you run the installer, you won’t have any problems. simple and easy.

What is this for a file?

I have this file in c:\windwos\system32, but the people don’t have this file.

  20. Is it possible to make vPlug remember the window size for its monitor window, like it remembers its top left corner position? I have to resize it every time I restart my AltDVB to see the messages conveniently. Also, the respective size of the sections…?
    Thanks.

  22. hi,
I want to intergate v*plug in my own project. Till now everything works OK, i am using MDAPI interface. I notice also that it expose CSASetKeys and CSADecrypt methods, that probably use the csa modules according to ini file. The problem is that CSADecrypt is compiled with fastcall calling convention (passing parameters in eax register). As i am using .ENT framework, which does not support does not suppprt fastcall calls - i can’t use this function. Would it be possible to export this function (maybe under another name) as stdcall or cdecl instead? Thanks in advance.

  23. Felicitation Good work !
good GUI but if you have a chance can you
add a configuration system allowing saving the size of the proportions in the Frame to personnalize the frame size and update to the user needs.
i hope that you understood me.
    sorry for the bad english
    Thanks

I am writing again. Please load you if no version of a ULC xyz. Just here, this version is not here, then there is not.

  30. tps au down

    By AR@$H on Jul 15, 2008

  31. Since version 2.3.5 it’s possible to remember the size of monitor window, but something is wrong with the sections. Every time I close AltDVB the size of the 3 upper sections changes by itself (decreases). It is reflected in the vplug.ini file. Any chance to fix it?
    Thanks.

  32. thanx Vahid its really good job u do …

but i wonder if u could but a list of decrypt channel to every vplug version
    >>> it’ll be very useful

    By ghan_xboy on Jul 15, 2008

  33. H*O, HB* 2 and HBO Co*edy in Hotbird 13E don’t work. Vplug trys only Seca but not Nagr*. Why?

By searcher on Jul 16, 2008

  34. Everyone who told you turn off Auto-PMT and Auto-ECM of vPlug knows nothing about the vPlug’s & dvb-s players internals.
HBO’s change their ECM-PID’s regularly. Your dvb-s player saves those PID’s in its database when it’s scanning that transponder.
What is the purpose of Auto-PMT? Extracting fresh ECM-PID’s form the incoming stream.
So if it’s off and you didn’t scan that transponder lately, vPlug have to use that old ECM-PID which is not correct and it’s not in use anymore.
So turn on Auto-PMT and Auto-ECM of vPlug and let the plugin do its job. [or rescan that transponder again to update the PID's database of your poor dvb-s player]

  35. First of all, Thank’s Vahid for the latest V-plug is verry powerfull

    Second: I have DVBViewer v 3.9.4

but evry time when am try to décrépt channel I get error says: *no hardware available*

    can I get halep plzz !!! :-(

Note: I tried many time to search solution in the blog but I get noo thing

So thank u any way ;-)

By INDOCHINE on Jul 16, 2008

  36. 1- You have to install technisat’s software 1st (if it’s ss2)
2- Read vPlug’s readme.txt file, to find the solution. you have to select “has CI module”

By Vahid on Jul 16, 2008

  37. @ ghan_xboy

I don’t really know what you mean by list of decrypted channels. Vahid already does it. Any new capability added to vplug is mentioned in the release note coming with the program.
But if you mean a list of decryption released by some websites which includes all the decrypted channels on all satellites by vplug, I’d say that it would be too much of expectation from a programmer. As it consumes lots of energy and time, it isn’t fair to ask him for that.

    By Vahid021 on Jul 16, 2008

  38. INDOCHINE,
Vplug 2.3.5 supports DVB viewer again. Tested and OK for me. just put VPlug files under Plugins folder. remove softca files (FFDecsa.dll, CSA.dll, MakroCSA,SoftCSA.dll and MDPlugins-folder).

    By its_the_crow on Jul 17, 2008

  39. Dear Vahid, thanks for your brilliant explanation regarding the Auto-ECM & Auto-PMT.
Would you be kind enough to elaborate the use of Auto-CAT, as well as its differences with the ECM & PMT?
    Thanks.

By NK on Jul 17, 2008

  40. - Most of the dvb-s players are unable to find EMM-PID’s correctly and some of them won’t give you anything regrading these PID’s. So I had to add an option (Auto-CAT) to find these PID’s without relying on the host’s data.
    - ECM’s carry 2 keys (which are encrypted - CW’s). These keys (after decryption - DCW’s) will be fed to the CSA machine to produce the picture and sound.

By Vahid on Jul 17, 2008

  41. Thanks a lot. So, if I get everything correctly:
    * Auto-ECM — cycles through all the available ECMs automatically to find the one that is working (one vPlug can decrypt);
    * Auto-PMT — finds new ECM PIDs in transport stream in case they change and DVB-S application fails to update them;
    * Auto-CAT — finds ECM PIDs without relying on the host data.
As far as I understand, the difference between Auto-PMT and Auto-CAT is that Auto-PMT relies on the PMT PID in the transport stream, while Auto-CAT has its own special procedure to find the ECM PIDs?
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Never really understood the actual impact and significance of those tools until now…
    Thanks.

By NK on Jul 17, 2008

  42. - Auto-PMT is also able to find audio-pids (and much more).
    - Auto-CAT finds EMM PIDs (not ECM PID’s). It’s important for AU process.

You can see some examples here
